VIPoint Summer Internship

Each year we invite students currently enrolled in an English-speaking four year university for a month internship at VIPoint. Working remotely under our Business Development Director, your first two weeks will consist of lesson-planning and other business development tasks & strategies. The following two weeks you will be flown to our headquarters at the InfoPark Technology Park in Kochi, Kerala, India. There you will tutor VIPoint staff in effective communication techniques, American English vernacular and elements of Business English. At the end of the internship you will journey on a two-day VIPoint guided tour to a major tourist destination such as the Taj Mahal in Agra, Golconda Fort in Hyderabad, Vishanvatha Temple in Uttar Pratesh or one of many other beautiful places in India. Training will be provided.
Internship Length: 1 month
Compensation: Unpaid
Lodging/Travel: All Expenses Paid
Educational Requirements: Current major in Business, Communications or English

Taks include but are not limited to:

Tasks will vary depending on assigned clients. They include but are not limited to:
--- Contributing to technical write-ups & seminars
--- Supporting clients through chat, AIM, Skype and a variety of other communication methods
--- Secure, troubleshoot & maintain Linux servers
--- CentOS/RedHat/Fedora, Ubuntu/Debian, *BSD
--- PLESK, cPanel, DirectAdmin, SolusVM, WebMin
